Ministry of Literature & Composition: The totalatarian MLC organizes all literary studies, as well as analytical, critical, and creative writing. This Ministry essentially coordinates all aspects of education, entertainment, family-life, government, and religion. It is the most powerful branch of INGBIGS and is staffed by an elite command known as the Literati.
Ministry of Poetry: The Ministry of Poetry is in charge of law & order and the military. The primary instrument of law enforcement is the infamous Library Police. The "Militerary" is staffed by compulsory service and funded by library late fees. The Ministry, MP, is housed in a facility dubbed the HHQ, or Haiku Headquarters, an underground compound located beneath the Capital Library.
Ministry of Words: The MW oversees the economy of Bigsbania. All literary pursuits within Bigsbania are government funded; upper-class citizens earn government salaries based on their reading and writing aptitude and achievement; the middle-class earns state-funded salaries and extra-credit for voracious reading and writing; the lower classes are paid a living-wage for performing their technical services and can earn a personal pizza for every book they finish. Government funds are fueled by INGBIGS international bookstores and cafes.The open market in Bigsbania, where all nonliterary goods are produced and consumed, is generally governed by capitalistic principles, though strong, charitably-funded social services exist for the bookless, the vision-imapired, and all those hungry for the nourishment of literature.
